About Counter Clicker

Counter Clicker is a free online counting tool. It works in your web browser, on any device, and it does one job well: it helps you count things without losing track.

You can use it to count people at a door, reps in a workout, items on a shelf, laps around a track, votes in a meeting, or anything else you need a number for. Press the plus button to add one, the minus button to take one away, and the reset button to start again. That is the whole idea.

Why We Built This Tool

Counting sounds simple until you actually have to do it. People still use paper and pen, notes on their phone, or a mechanical clicker that gets lost in a drawer. All three have the same problem: one distraction and the count is gone.

We wanted something better. So we built a counter that:

  • Opens instantly in a browser, with nothing to download or install
  • Saves your count automatically, even if you close the tab
  • Works the same on a phone, a tablet, and a computer
  • Costs nothing to use

We keep improving it based on how people actually use it. Many of the features on the site today, such as multiple counters, keyboard shortcuts, and session history, were added because users asked for them.

What You Can Do With Counter Clicker

Run several counters at once. Add as many counters as you need on one screen and give each one a name, such as “Door A,” “Reps,” or “Shelf 3.” Each counter keeps its own total.

Count without touching the screen. Use your keyboard, with the space bar to add one, backspace to subtract one, and the R key to reset. There is also a voice option if your hands are busy.

See your progress live. The tool shows your session time, your counting pace, and your clicks per second while you count.

Keep a record. Every finished session is saved in a history log with the date, time, duration, and total. You can download the whole history as a CSV file and open it in Excel or Google Sheets.

Set it up your way. Choose a light or dark theme, set a minimum and maximum value, change the step size, jump straight to a specific number, and turn the click sound on or off.

Your Privacy Matters

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, your email address, or any other personal information just to count.

Your counts and session history are saved in your own browser’s local storage. That means the data stays on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers and we cannot see it. If you clear your browser data, your counts are cleared too, so download a CSV first if you need to keep a record.
